NY VIP style, that’s how I roll! Got to see a smashing performance by Avicci in the custom to which I am so deserving thanks to Microsoft during Ad Week (lifted private area with great view of the crowd and stage). Three nights later, and Emsy and I were in the front VIP section of … Continue reading

Montauk baby, July 2013 I told you I would go back. The highlight this time outside of Montauk itself was that my wonderful Chilli Sparkles survived her first train trip. 3 hours spent inside a bag. Super cool, so proud! She also learned to ride me on my bike, which is pretty handy when I’m … Continue reading
Adventures of mum and me
Mum’s (aka pat the rat) New York visit, June/July 2013 My mother came to stay with me for a huge 5.5 weeks over the beginning of summer. My sister joined us for the first 10 days, and our truly excellent Turks and Caicos adventure, then mum stayed on for another month after that. This was … Continue reading

Soon to be half an iron woman.
This week I finally took the plunge and did what I’ve been threatening to do for a few months now. I entered my inaugural 70.3 race. Otherwise known as a half ironman (although I tend to think it should be called an ironperson). So it seems, by this time in 3 months, all going well … Continue reading
Day two in Roscoe, we did not go Skiing….but we did manage to completely relax and spend some quality time with our 3 little girls in the country (yes Chilli Sparkles is one of them). I feel super blessed after spending my second weekend at our friends river house in Roscoe. Such lovely, generous, clever … Continue reading
Weekend fun, skiing in up state NY – Belleayre to be precise. It was cold and grey but still awesome to be in the fresh air, blood pumping flying (sort of) down the mountain. Love the Catskills!
Sign of the times, Ferrara Cafe is back open!
In case you don’t know, Ferrara is the little coffee shop in Central Park as you enter from the corner of 59th on the West side of the park. Otherwise known as my entrance. Ever since we’ve lived the LUWS (my name for the lower upper west side – which could also be called Columbus … Continue reading
